I first got into Wings of Fire when I saw the second book being sold at the book fair in elementary school... that was in like 2nd grade or something? I didn't make/think of making an OC/sona for it until 4th grade, and at the time I couldn't draw wings very well, so the concept of a wingless OC sort of sprang into existence.This is Dreamrunner. No wings due to a genetic mutation. Runs very fast - very light. Not well muscled except on her legs, can't breathe fire, usually loses battles.
I'm going to remake this in a few years... probably... since I made the head too big (looks like a damn chibi omfg) and my dragon-skills kinda suck.

Yeah, same for me! I read The Lost Heir first so I was kind of confused about what was going on, but it was a great book and remains to this day my favorite one in the series. I got a neat little dragon charm with it, too.

My favorite book I'd say was Glory's book. As it was nice to have a peek in her mind,and the fact I can relate with her a bit was very nice. And get a sneak peek at the Night Kingdom just how desperate they were for a new home was intriging as well

I actually went through practically the same experience with you for WoF except I saw the first book on sale and I think I was in 3rd grade xD

xD I kinda wish I'd seen the 1st one on sale before I saw the second... mainly because I had absolutely no idea what was happening, haha. It was still super good though. To this day the second book is my favorite out of all of them (though The Hidden Kingdom was super great as well).
