Did anyone else think of the MissingNo. glitch in Pokemon when they first saw Vanellope?
Maybe I'm the only one.

Wreck-it-Ralph actually made me fell bad for Missinno. What if its just as friendly as other Pokemon, but everyone too afried to catch it and befriend it?

Came to my mind too ... There have been more fully developed characters axed from games though, like Honey (The Cat?)in Sonic Fighters (original arcade version) , an in joke of sorts as she is based on Honey from Fighting Vipers, developed by the same team, which also had Sonic in Tails in development as a joke! All of The Kooplings were the original bosses in Super Priness Peach (DS) There are stages too that have been cut from games, like Genocide City Zone in Sonic 2, but still in the code! Honey and Genocide City are playble with code monkeying (or the code players could put in Sonic 2 to access debug mode), but glichy, of course! Vanellope then, stays true to gaming history, as something not quite finished but not quite taken out either.

Ah, gotcha! I was obsessed with glitches on old Gameboy Games like Pokemon, so that's probably why her character made me think of it. But I liked racing games too.

Yeah, I just liked those games because they weren't too complicated. Though I grew up with playstation and Sega, so the N64 controller always seemed odd to me.

True xD But I don't want them, true Pokemon masters raise their Pokemon to lvl 100! Besides, did you know that Rare Candies only increase a Pokemon's stats to their bare minimum? Increasing it legitly through Exp increases their stats much more. So you'd probably find if you battle'd a legit Lvl 100 Pokemon with a Rare Candy stuffed one, the former would win hands down xD

Ahh, well, I love Pokemon Blue/Red and even Yellow the most, so I guess I would be. I played Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal and loved them, but that's as far as I went. I did get Heart Gold, and it was okay. And I just got into Black and White and I LOVE them, but I haven't had time to complete all of them.
But Pokemon Blue was my childhood favorite game, so it sticks with me the most.

It faded away for me pretty quick, but now I have the urge to collect em all xD So far I've got nearly all the first 151 (minus the elusive Mew) and slowly getting all the Gen II's from HeartGold ^^
