yes it's harder than drawing with pencils but worth it. keep practising

Charcoal?!? How are you able to put so much details in your drawing? When i try something with charcoal it getqs all smudgy ...

i don't think its very detailed. i used a really small picture as a ref. anyway, using proper kind of paper should help to avoid smudging and charcoal pencils are good for thin lines that wont disappear too fast
