This was done for the contest that ir running!

I really liked all three promts and it was very hard for me to chose just one... I did all of them but I ended up prefering the WATX one 'cause... well there was Deadpool in it!

The prompt

“Ah, mon cherie! There you are!” A man’s arm was suddenly slung around Rogue’s shoulder as she sat at the bar, downing her second shot of whiskey.

“Can I help you, sir?” she hissed, glaring at the offensive appendage.

“Play along.” He whispered, close to her.

“Why?”

“Because those men are trying to kill me.”

“Then get away from me!”

Suddenly, two men threw the front doors of the bar open, causing all eyes to turn toward them. The trenchcoated, mysterious man seated next to Rogue avidly avoided eye contact with them and scooted closer to her.

“Just play along, s'il vous plaît!” he whispered lowly to her, his strange demonic eyes, pleading.

“You there!” One of the dark men shouted, pointing at the man next to her. “You’re coming with us!”

The trenchcoat man didn’t respond, though his eyes engaged her intently, as if he were trying to invade her mind, begging for her help.

The two dark men stomped over to them and turned the trenchcoat man viciously around in his chair. “I said…”

“Hey!” Rogue growled turning and glaring at the two men. “Why don’t you guys just leave him alone, huh?”

“Mind your own business, girl!”

“When two asses like you come storming into a bar, ruining *MY* day, and ganging up on someone, it *IS* my business!”

“This man has a bounty on his head worth 3 million dollars.”

“Oh, bounty hunters, huh?” she glanced down at the trenchcoat man curiously, and then back at the two men.

Unbeknownst to them, Rogue had slipped her gloves off and before they could even blink, she slammed both of her hands onto their faces, knocking them out cold.

The bar patrons stared in awe as Rogue simply returned her gloves to their original positions and turned to face the trenchcoat man.

The color had drained from his face completely.

“I have a feeling this is about to get ugly,” Rogue suggested, her head tugging toward the exit. “And you owe me an explanation.”

“Soit.” The man agreed, standing to his feet and following after her toward the exit.

“What was that?!” he asked, after he caught up with her in the side alley.

“Hi, nice to meet you, too! My name’s Rogue. And you’re welcome for saving your life.” She side glanced at the man in annoyance.

“Gambit.” He started. “You’re a mutant.”

“So are you, if your eyes are any indication.” She looked at him. “And why do you have a bounty on your head for 3 million dollars, if you don’t mind my asking?”

“Too long a story. Now thank you for saving my life, cherie, but I must be going.”

“Hey!”

Gambit suddenly broke out into a dead run, seemingly melding into the alley shadows. But before she could chase after him, she heard a gunshot ring out.

She pushed her feet forward as fast as they could go, but stopped short suddenly when she was yanked into the alleyway.
It was Gambit.
He made a shushing motion with one hand, while his other nursed an apparent gunshot wound on his side.

Rogue looked at him in confusion.

“Peekaboo!” A red and black masked face hanging upside down popped in front of her.
“Gambit! Naughty, naughty! Aren’t we too old for games?” this new stranger did a flip and landed in front of them, cocking his guns and aiming. “Now be a good little boy for Uncle Deadpool and let me shoot you in the head and collect my $3 million.”

“$3 million?! C’mon, Wade! You know you could get more than that for me!” he flashed a debonair smile at the masked assassin, despite having a gunshot wound and a gun in his face.

The masked assassin scoffed. “Puh-lease. They’re totally being generous.”

Rogue stood in front of Gambit and glared at the assassin.

“Oh, please," Deadpool groaned. "Let me just *shoot* the dirt bag and collect my money! Bounty first, *then* I can shoot you.”

“Or not.” Rogue roundhouse kicked the firearms out of the assassin's hands before he could spare a syllable, grabbed Remy by the arm, and side checked Deadpool into a wall before making a break for it.

“What are you doing?!”

“What do you *think* I’m doing?! Keep running!”

“Don’t you know who that is?!”

“I don’t know who *any* of you people are, and I don’t care! Just shut up and run!”

Rogue honestly didn’t know.
She didn’t know who this man was.
She didn’t know why she saved him.
She didn’t know why she just probably made this situation a *whole* lot worse.
It was probably the whiskey.

All she knew was that this was probably the most excitement she’s had since the whole Magneto fiasco.

“Please tell me you can fly,” he huffed, grimacing in pain. “or something else!”

“What, and spoil the plot?”

Suddenly, Rogue grinned in relief.
She spotted the one man she was sure would help her with their predicament.

"Hey, Logan!"

They kept running and went to a desolate alley. They looked back... Deadpool wasn't there. They were lucky he had lost them. Logan had attacked him and he would have probably knocked him out already. What a relief.

"Ah s'ppose, he ain't a friend of yours..." Rogue said.

The Cajun smilled at her.

"No chere, dis ain't m' friend for sure.''

"Ah think he has lost us... Well, Wolverine took care of 'im"

Suddenly they heard many gunshots from the other side of the road. Wolverine screamed!

"What the...?" Rogue started saying, but....

Deadpool appeared from the upside of a building and started shooting at them. He was covered with blood... Both his and Logan's.

"Missed me pals? I KNOW I missed you!" he yelled laughing.

"Not again..." said Gambit.

"Keep RUNNING!" Rogue grabbed his hand and the started running together... again...
