Description
a futuristic (or not?) assault buggy, with electric engine (you can notice a bunch of batteries on both sides, easily replaceable on the battlefield), rocket launchers, laser-aimed machine guns, soft suspensions and lights for night assaults. my own from top to the bottom, no references used.it's a finished version now, at least i hope it's finished. spent on this one quite a lot, well, i had to study different techniques: when i started this i was a beginner at modeling.
modeled/textured/rendered in c4d, separate sky from terragen (original sky sucked), combined in photoshop cs2 with color corrections and minor postwork.

oh and, no word about tire tracks, my computer dies when i try to make them printed in the surface.

model is clean! and render is amazing, how did you render like that? what does it look like without any lights, did you just use the default scanline render engine or did you use GI or something?

no, there was no gi, it would take too long for my machine to render. lighting... only one simple linear lightsource. nothing special with render or scene here, just color corrections.

well, just wow! it would be cool if you could do a render of one of my cars...hehe, im sure it would look awesome, or just out of place, but im sure it would still look better than mines..(one parallel light/floor/frontal mapped background)..

WEAPONS :
I never think Gatling gun can attatch with Laser-Sighted... I think, that Rocket-Pods also become a perfect gun for war... ( Cool weapons, bro ! )
BODY :
I like the body and the bumpers also the spoiler ( What a fancy buggy O_O! ) but, I still don't know why U give this buggy too many cables...?!
Nice window... is that the solar panel ? If yes, that's a nice part... coz' that can become the power supply ( I mean can change the gasoline )
OTHERS :
Cool camo paint there... I love that biggy tyres... but... I little bit hate the rims ( velg )... It looks standard... anyway, that not a big problem...
Okay, I think that's all....
Anyway, I love this assault buggy so much... O_O!

woah, it's like a small research up there! red lasers at the gatling guns can be used for super-advanced homing bullets (sounds crazy, but they used that idea in "Fifth Element")(yeah, i thought about it just now). black glass is just a shield protecting the driver from sun exposure, power supply comes from batteries at the buggy's bottom. those cables are fixed to those power cells and another purpose of those cables is just the aesthetic look they give - it's not a military science project after all.
in the end, i wanted to change the rims, but the whole model grew very complicated, so i couldn't work any more on this. i was unexperienced so i made many unnecessary polygons and my pc couldn't bear the whole scene.

this is really well done, the detail in the moddling is brilliant and the textures are to! having said that would be nice to see some wear on the tires and maby some damage/scratches on the buggy, anyways nice work man !
