Description
I made this texture or map by mixing and morphing the looks of planet Jupiter from New Horizons (2015) to Pioneer (1979) including mapping from telescopes. First I mixed the whole maps together depending of what they look like to other textures (for example Voyager 1's Jupiter and Voyager 2's Jupiter mixed together). Then I mixed and morph the zones separately. The first was from upper pole to upper zone, then the upper belt, then the equatorial zone, and last the bottom which includes the Great Red Spot. This was the big success. Another step now to do was to reproduce it through digital painting in order to make the details look more clear. This was done in the future or another deviant will be reproduce it through digital painting maybe if there was a chance.IT'S FREE TO USE!!!!!
Special thanks to Snowfall-The-Cat FarGetaNik MrSpace43 and jcpag2010 for textures and maps that i used to mix all together. and to some astronomers which is not here in DeviantArt for mapping the planet Jupiter using their telescopes.

Nice work!! it really is interesting to see an "average" of Jupiter. it is odd that it ends up being this way. i would imagine that a gas giant planet like this would end up with the north and south hemispheres being nearly perfectly mirror image of each other. with all the gases being able to mix up inside, no continents to obstruct the flow of currents. and with such a low axial tilt it should just be the same all over, and yet here it is. but, perhaps Jupiter would work out having the mirrored hemispheres if you could mix maps over millions of years together. we still don't know a lot about how Jupiter works to know for sure.

thank you so much. yeah. the outcome was odd. and it almost looks like 1991 version of Jupiter from Hubble Space Telescope. When i about to morph the bottom region from Southern Equatorial Belt to the South Polar Region, it just came to my mind that i have to enhance the Colour of the map of Jupiter from Pioneer. But the Upper part (from the Upper Polar Region to Northern Tropical Zone) was morphed completely. So the upper part was dark. Also the part in the left side of the Southern Tropical Zone was messed up due to the confusion of control points. And the Northern Equatorial Belt was still dark. It doesn't still show some white clouds. I did everything like separating the beth with white clouds and belt will all dark colours.

Interesting map! So is this supposed to be an "average" texture of Jupiter? The averaging blurred out the texture a bit, and fringes are visible and the boundried. Other than that you did a good job in morphing

thanks. I morphed the Look-a-likes then i morphed them all together depending on the zones and belts.
In the future i will digitally paint this texture like on my book "Space Atlas" to see the detail of the planet.
