Description So one of the two autocoaches I won on ebay arrived the other day. But a quick nitpick was, it didn't come with couplings! It has a chain loop on each end though, so I was able to carefully attach it onto Duck and Donald's coupling hooks, as you can see.


Problem is, this realistic way of connection has a problem with turning, the coach's body didn't agree with the coupling and each time it caused both it and Duck to derail.

End result. There's a Hornby coupler blue tacked to the other end now so all's fine Once I get the second coach I'll have a set and I'll be happy.

Both autocoaches I bought came from Dapol btw, in case anyone's wondering.

It's a feature on the autocoach Didn't add them on

Yeah, that kind of coupling can have issues on model railways.

I actually use three-links for shunting purposes, albeit with sprung buffers to make it simpler, and on wide curves. I use express points for shunting to save hassle with buffer-lock.
