Bravo!  You have, unfortunately, gotten the essence of human nature.  We expect the worst, and we get it.  We fear the worse, and we let it consume us, rather than insist that it stop.  We think we are superior beings.  We forget we are made in the image of God.  We ignore the yearning in our souls for peace, and settle for conflict in the name of peace.  We fight for freedom at the cost of jailing others who want the same but use methods and reasons different from ours.  The world revolves around us as we sink further into is depths.  We all say God Bless America, but condemn those who wish God would protect them and their countries but cannot not speak His name as we so freely do in the US.  Words come easily.  Actions take a strength of character that is rare.  Thank you for your sentiments.
