Just finished the story mode in Hyrule Warriors Legends and I thought it would be fun to draw Linkle in a different Zelda art style. the Oracle games have one of my favorite art style for a Zelda game so i went with that style.Related content

It's hard to give a proper critique, since I enjoy your style. My hardest assessment of this piece is it's positioning of the figure. Her right foot looks like it's pivoting forward, though her left is parallel. Also her body is turned though not her arms, her face is fine except for her left eye (or it's her nose that's too close to the right). Other than that you've designed an amazing depiction of an awesome character, every detail in place, the shading (fills form and gives weight) executed well, and palette choices grand. I hope to see more from you, this was wonderful.

I think the way she's holding her dual crossbows looks a bit off, otherwise it's very well done.

well shes not really holding them, they can snap on to her boots and she is resting her hands on them, she also uses her boots to reload the crossbows.
I think shes amusing as a character, where Link is always sort of thrown in to being a hero due to destiny she is really gun-ho about being a hero and wanting to help people. So shes a bit more proactive then Link, at least just in Hyrule Warriors, we will see if she becomes more like Link if maybe she becomes a female alternative to Link in future games which I wouldn't be opposed too.

i too am having fun playing HWL. it's sad that it keeps getting alot of crap because it's a port from the Wii U to the 3DS/New 3DS though. i play on my XL 3DS and it plays ok.

yeah the frame rate and the graphics weren't much of an issue for me while i was playing it on my 3DS XL too and I really enjoyed the game

same and same device too. i think the hate is mainly on it being the "poor version" seeing as the N3DS makes it run better and the Wii U is no competition. just sad though. i even heard a review (kind of) of this guy i follow saying to just avoid it on the O3DS as much as possible. it's really sad.

i watched the IGN review for the game and calling it a "review" is generous. They basically said to watch their review of the WiiU game then ragged on the graphics and frame rates for like 2 minutes and didn't really talk about any of the new stuff added to the game, and the review is only like 2 mins 40 seconds

well, welcome to IGNorant. and even other people i watch who mainly play video games bash the O3DS gameplay and graphics the most. atleast the guy i watched talked about it being as good, maybe better, than the Wii U on the N3DS, but pretty much hated the O3DS.
