Thanks so much! Capturing expression is not one of my strong points and I got very lucky with this snapshot. I took heaps of photos that day (lots posed) and this candid one was the best of all.

I know what you mean! I still remember when I used to go through a film a week! I'd only get half a dozen good shots in a roll.. Compared to now most of those photos are rubbish, the learning curve with digital is so fast because you can check the photos instantly. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Yeah, it totally changed my approach. Using film I don't think I would have ever really gotten good photos because it was too expensive for me to practice as much as I needed to. I'm onto my third digi cam now and I can't believe how much a an awesome camera improvred my pics instantly!!! (I got a 20d... mmmmmm)

Totally!! When I bought it I was worried I had spent WAY to much on a camera, but its totally worth it. I've had it 12 months and am so impressed with it I'm considering buying a 40D since I have no doubt I'll get my money's worth. (Did that make sense? I love it so I'm buying a better one??? hahaha)
