I wanted to work on something that I had stuck in my head, and I didn't really care to make a clean drawing. So, I sketched this out. It's a sketch, because it's not clean... However, it certainly wasn't a quicky! I actually spent most of the day on it, just messing around with colors and exploring what I could do with the picture. Drawings like this make me happy.
It's also wallpaper size for wide screen monitors, so feel free to use it.

Thank you! You know, I am,starting to hear that, more and more. People respond to my sketchy stuff a lot more than my cleaner stuff. Worth taking note, I suppose! I wonder why, though...

How much time do you spend on the clean version? I suppose it's a lot less than in the sketchy. That's why you consider it sketchy, right? <.< or am I wrong?

Actually, I spend way less time on a sketch. This sketch took me about 6-8 hours (I lost track).
However, a cleaned work like this one:
Takes me around 30-40 hours.

It's complicated. I like them both! I feel proud of a fully rendered piece, and they can be fun too! But I also enjoy the speed of a sketch, and they turn out alright.

I am not one to question myself, too often. I generally do what I want to do. However, sometimes what I want is to make something that is fun for me and enjoyable to my audience. Hearing people's opinions helps in this.

Yeh I know that you do what you want to do, but since you have Patreon you will hear loads of opinions and sometimes, maybe, they're not good for you and your improvement, even if they think they can make you improve.
As for my opinion, I'm there in the shadows o.o like a phantom, never give opinions, but when I see something that is really good I have to say something. And of course how envious I am D8

I don't see patreon making a big difference in my art, beyond improved productivity. I'm a pretty confident person, so an opinion has to really resonate with me to actually change how I do things.
My goal is to attract more people who like what I like, not try to please everyone. Hearing people's opinions let's me know if my audience resonates with my work. And you never know! Every once in a while someone says something that opens my eyes to an improvement I could make in my work. That's a good thing!

Cute Snow Elf gets coco and cookies! I can think of few elves as deserving, especially with such a nice demeanour and such genuine concern for others. Such a sweet person deserves those cookies and that Coco gosh darnit!

Hummmmmm... Bear incident indeed. Does she get to meet cute Hunter elf? They'd make an interesting start for an adventurer party. Seriously, she's already at the inn, all ya need is some trolling for gossip on a job or treasure, and a tank character and they're good to go.

On a separate note, this image appears to confirm that "snow elves" are in fact a sub-variety of Cookie Elf; perhaps "Frosting Elf" would be a more appropriate designation?

Ok seriously- more of her. I am so in love. She's got wonderful potential, and this scene post 'stroll through the snow and BEARS' is just a delight, haha! She looks so put out but glad to be indoors where it's warm.
