Description Recently I re-watched Lady and the Tramp, (classic film) and had to do something with the leading canines.

For curious flora-lovers, Tramp's got a tulip. Originally, when I though of Tramp giving Lady a flower I intended on doing a rose. However, a rose felt too "done" from the flower world, never mind the inherent difficulties of poor Tramp holding the thing and avoiding a mouthful of thorns in the process (ouch!). I caught wind of this site which suggests a red tulip in the Victorian-era signified both "believe me" and "declaration of love", which fits Tramp to a "T"

When I saw this I could have squeeled with delight... but I don't do that. So... instead, I'm going to fave this. I think you'll appreciate that a bit more anyways, no?

Anyways, I like your drawing style and coloring. It's a very cute idea. Also, Lady and the Tramp is my numero uno favorite Disney movie. And yet... I don't own it. Hmm... this is a problem. (That's what happens when you're a poor college student now I guess) As soon as I get another paycheck, I'll have to indulge on the special edition digitally restored dvd. For now, I will satisfy myself with looking at your fine piece of artwork. Props to you!

Thanks! Yeah, Lady and the Tramp is classic! I couldn't own it when I was a poor college student either, but now that I'm a Korean English teacher, I figured I could splurge.

Ah, one of my favorite Disney films (I think it ranks #3 on my list). Very nicely done pic. I think the red tulip was the best choice for Tramp to give to Lady.

Thanks! Although Lady & the Tramp isn't 1# on my list, it's definitely in my top five. Such a classic... pity the mouse hasn't done anything like it in a while.

I know. It's a bloody crime, to be honest.

Aww, they're really well done, looks like a screencap almost! Honestly, I think a tulip is also more suitable for this, since i can see a dog easily digging tulips out of a garden more than some roses hehe

Thanks! Heh, yeah, Tramp wouldn't have too many problems getting the gift. I can see Darling's reaction....

"Jim Dear, didn't I have a flower bed out back?"
