Endling is a good reference and although i try to keep the traditional look, it's just a matter of spicing up your panels! Blue pencil helps in the planning, since when you scan them, they disappear easily. Knowing that, you just draw over them. Oh! and watch a lot of anime movies (masamune shirow is a must!)
