Today's May 4th, or as people like to call it, "May the Fourth Be With You". Yes, it's a Star Wars joke. And of course, to celebrate, I'm gonna make the Kirby characters cosplay as major Star Wars characters.

Obviously, Kirby's gotta play Luke himself; I mean, the heroism is a perfect match (aside from that one time he chased a bunch of mice for a cake and nearly got the world destroyed by a god of evil from the underworld itself, just ignore that). I also gave him his Sky Energy Sword in place of a Lightsaber. I actually gave him that because I thought Mecha Knight's sword was actually unique.

I also decided to make King Dedede Darth Vader. I dunno why, but he was a villain before turning to the good side, so I always decided to reflect that by making him the former leader of the Galactic Empire. I honestly thought this came out quite well and actually fits the king quite well. I also gave him his Masked Dedede mask just to fit him even more.

Meta Knight plays Obi Wan because I honestly feel inspired by the anime. There, Meta Knight was training Kirby to prepare him for his final battle with Nightmare, so I wanted to reflect Obi Wan training Luke to fight his father by having him cosplay as Obi Wan. I didn't know what to do to represent his hood, so I just made his mask brown and wooden and made his entire cape silver, I dunno.

Bandana Waddle Dee plays as a Stormtrooper, because what else. I wasn't gonna have him play as a Ewok. And sorry if the Stormtrooper helmet looks weird. It's hard to draw it.

Squidwa-- I mean, Hyness plays Emperor Palpatine. I mean, the connections are all there: wears a hood? Check. Secretly insane? Check. Controls lightning? Check? The main villain? CHECK! I also put him in his unhooded form because both have pretty frightening faces. But in the case of Hyness, it's more funny-creepy because the jumpscare was ruined by the community and their memes.

And I guess I just had to add Pyribbit, everyone's favorite boss from Triple Deluxe. (and yes, that was sarcasm) I put him in his DX/EX form in reference to Jabba the Hut. I mean, would you be walking down the street to find a fat green guy who wants you dead? Sure enough, here we are. This celebration crossover, so enjoy. The force be with you, and may.
