On the 3rd of february, shayu celebrated his given Birthday.

My first Art companion.
My dearest character, and my stubborn mentor.

Happy birthday my blue butterfly boy, youre my oldest character. :'D

Oh god, where do i start about this one Even.
I had so many ideas in my head that day, but i was plagued by such a horrible artblock that i wasnt able to do anything digitally.
I ate my heart out for awhile because of it, until i picked my colored pencils a few days later.

One of the main reasons i always loved drawing traditional art was because, it always felt more personal to me.
You can feel the energy left by the artist, you can see the flow of colors in such a raw way. And all of that made me think that if i were to meet shayu, this is the kind of stuff he would absolutely cherish.

Giving Birthdays to my characters always felt special, it always made them feel more alive ;_; )
And Shayus birthday especially, holds alot of meaning to his character as well as for me. I really want to make an actual explanation as to why - But, i wanna make it special, i wanna illustrate that meaning.
And Oh god that drawing is going to be SO BLUE. Just like this one but more.

Shayu is an Aquarius, by personality and by spirit.

Aaalllll these years back, almost 10 years, The very first character that inspired me to create shayu in the first place - was an Aquarius too.
Long before i even knew about signs or astrology. So when i sat down and decided which one fits shay' more, it amazed me to figure out that he shared the same zodiac as the character that inspired him in the first place.

[ Lets see, if we share a similar mindset + game interests, youll figure who that character is. ]

Also this was drawn on these pizza holding hard-papers, that in itself is also very special because pizza is LIFE.
