Missouri State Penitentiary, Jefferson City Missouri. May 4th 2016.McClung Hall, built in 1914.
The Missouri State Penitentiary operated from 1836-2004 and was the oldest operating penal facility west of the Mississippi River. It was replaced by the Jefferson City Correctional Center.
