Standing in the lot of the restored DX service station and looking west, you can see Basset Grocery and further down there is what was once Smith's Store, that used to have a soda fountain. There are a few more old Brick buildings around the corner, but the vast majority of the old buildings are just gone, empty space. On Google Maps, I can see what looks to be the foundation for the old train station.

Anyway, Afton Station has a Packard museum inside and you can see here a rusty specimen waiting it's turn to be restored.
