Description
Species name: ???Common Name: Stargazer
Coloration: Dark navy blue that's darker on its back a than on its front with light blue or teal speckles or "star" dots that cover its back, arms, and legs. The bone plating on it's back and its claws are a usually the same color as the speckles but are pale or off white when they are young. Eyes are usually orange or yellow.
Features: Bone plating covers it's sensitive spine which is susceptible to injury or weakening with age. The claws some how hover above it's round hands and never extend further than two inches away. They have no see-able mouth yet are omnivores, though when it comes to meat they scavenge or eat eggs.
Habitat: Grasslands or scrub planes with tall fruit bearing trees.
Behavior: Stargazers will live in family groups of three to four once mated. They are slow moving giants, that constantly move from one group of trees to another. When they come across shiny items, such as metal or plastic, they will use it to decorate themselves though the purpose it unknown. Though not active hunters they will fight what they perceive as a threat.
