Name: Adahy (Ah-da-he) 'Ada' (He Who Lives in Woods)Gender: Male
Characteristics: Mainly a carefree, gentle giant, although if annoyed he can turn easily, and show his 'aggressive' side.
He likes to live in mossy forests, resting on sunlit boulders, giving him a serene grace when sunlight strikes him, seeming like a painted statue. He also enjoys bathing in pools of spring water, which helps to relax his muscles.
Features: He has six legs, meaning that he is quite the speedy creature, allowing him to hunt quicker paced creatures swiftly. It also helps him when scaling trees to find prey or material, as he can grip the tree with four of his limbs, whilst using his forelegs to grasp onto his target or wanted object.
He has a vibrant coloured mouth which he can use to startle predators, should there be any, by opening his jaws wide and exposing it. He also can flatten or raise the feathers along his head, neck and back to show what sort of mood he is in; the flatter the feathers the more calm and relaxed he is.
The horn on his forehead is used in fights (along with his teeth and claws) and is also used in rivalry battles (usually for territory or for mates).

I loved watching you draw this. It was really interesting to watch you sketch the character out. I've never actually watched you draw the character before, and the old drawing that you submitted slipped my mind, so when watching you produce a whole new picture, I was rather intrigued. It's just not the kind of creature that you generally draw and it was awesome to see your take on it. You've drawn the features fantastically. The legs look awesome. It's interesting to see a creature with more than four legs, and you've pulled it off really well. I'd imagine that it's a little hard to decide where to situate them at first and how to decide on the body length.
I love how you've drawn the tail and all those little feathers. The tail just swishes/curls nicely, and all the feathers on the back/neck just looks awesome. You're very good at making the features on a creature look majestic, and a theme like that certainly fits him. The description says so itself.
You've done the markings nicely. It's always nice to see how you do markings. They always appear to be in the correct place, they're of the correct shape, they have smooth edges. It just looks so wonderful.
I love the overall style you add to ref sheets. The background is really nice and just spices it up that little bit more. I like how the imagine of the character is repeated in the background, but enlarged. It's nice that you use a texture too. All these touches go to making this drawing even more special. ^_^
I like the description. You think clearly when creating your characters and it's lovely to see the results. You develop the personality so well, and it's nice to see how you come up with uses for the different sections of the body, mainly feathers, etc. It just makes it that bit more realistic.

Pretty cool. For me, it seems to have some kind of a style that reflects the Native American art that I've seen around. I like the addition of the coloured feathers as well, especially the ones on the back. I think the pale yellow of the stripes and spots are a lovely touch.
