Very nice. I like how she is looking at the pomegranate concentrating on its beauty. Nice colors as well.

Very nice detail, one of those pieces you can just keep looking at because you keep seeing something else.

I know! But i was worried about it being stolen and it was sold, so i had to choose the evil of putting it on there.

For a reason unknown, this reminds me of the book of Genesis, especially when Eve took the fruit from the forbidden tree. Dark, but very insightful concept. Great Job overall!

Haha the lady that bought this picture said that same thing! Its funny though, because a lot of theological teachings claim that maybe the two stories share roots!

This is really a beautiful painting with so many lovely details. I like the contrast between the background and the pomegranate. Thanks to the colour gradient it looks as if it is gleaming. The expression of the woman is great and very suiting. The atmosphere of the painting suits the story which it is telling. I like how you implemented the idea. It looks great! Keep it up ♥

Thank you very much! I wanted to the fruit to be the darkest part, being as it represented a dark fate, but also a very beautiful one! Thanks again!

I actually sold this one. LOL. And I always do my art in one sitting, or at least, try too. I kinda just lock myself in a cave until its done haha my friends and family find it irritating haha

Also, a personal note: I love the name Persephone, and she is one of my favorite Greek goddesses.
I'd name my future daughter that, but my parents would most likely disown me.
