Its just part of the shading but you can do more with it if you want. Technically it is part of the color scheme.

Actually I used prismacolor markers mostly and just plain pencil. And the gold is a prismacolor paint pen.

Whoa cool, is hard to control markers, you do it very well. Are the prismacolor markes odourly? I have some pantone letraset and are smelly XD

they are very smelly yes XD they have alcohol in em for easy blending......I have had trouble in the past with my friends stealing my EXPNSIVE markers to try and get high and drying them out. Its freaking irritating.
