Lay out a trail of breadcrumbs. No wait. It works much better using clues.

Let the oh-so-very-clever superheroine think that she is tracking the villain down to his secret lair.

Of course, the reality is that she is (unknowingly) being invited to venture into an area liberally laced with traps...just for her.

She just never saw the tranq darts (activated by her booted foot landing on a concealed pressure plate) coming.

When she awoke...after a couple of hours, she realised the tables had been turned. BWAH-HA-HA!!!!
