Orix was born many years ago while the master of the valley was in power.
he was a very strong slave. bringing many 'chosen' ones to be soul food.

He woke up with the armor still on his head...

shaking it off, he lay on the ground.
Jumping into sweet air, he flew out the nest for food.
He did not know what to eat..

Flying to the village looking to choose a human.
even though the master was killed, orix landed gently on a house.

He didn't notice that there was a hot, smokey fire underneath him.
It burned away the tip of his tail..

A giant yelp pain woke the sleepy village..
A human slipped a weak, rusty chain onto a his tail.

Breaking away from the human's grasp, orix flew back to his only home.

it was in shambles. Most of the other tricos where dead.
A few confused tricos lie about.

Desperate for barrels they all where.
He ran through the thin tunnels.
A barrel lay on the cold ground.
but it was buried.

He walked around in the room for others..
A soul butterfly snagged onto the chain.
Channeling energy through the chain, orix was no longer starving.
