Headcanon time! While some Mario fans believe Rosalina is a goddess, I don't. I used to, but now, I think she just doesn't age much, due to traveling at near-light speeds, and she knows powerful magic. Totally different. However, I believe Pit thinks that she's a goddess. Since he comes from a world where polytheism is real, he probably assumes that she's a goddess just like Palutena. He's just never bothered to ask, since he feels it's obvious, and she's never corrected it because she doesn't know he thinks she's a goddess. Or maybe he has called her one, and she thinks he means it metaphorically.I thought I'd draw Pit asking Rosalina about his divine status. If he thinks she's a goddess, there's concern that she might not like him as much as she might a god. What can an angel offer than a deity can't? Rather than wallow in this fear, Pit's decided to outright ask Rosalina if she minds that he's not a god. The answer is no, it doesn't matter to her. She loves Pit for his personality, not his divinity.
