People who know me well will know that homophobia is one of my big pet peeves. I can't stand bigotry of any kind, but homophobia really rubs me the wrong way. I think it's because homosexuals have so often been demonized rather than simply oppressed. I can't stand that kind of treatment of people.
Since Minnie loves robots to the point where her boyfriend is one, I imagine she gets angry when people discriminate against robots. So many people see robots as traitors, job-stealers, or soulless machines. Minnie sees them as misunderstood people who deserve the same rights as humans and angels. When she sees people online saying hateful comments about robots with no administrators doing anything, she gets understandably angry.
