Something I'm always blown away by with Binging With Babish is how he often makes his bread from scratch just for the recipe he's showing. Two examples include Eggs in a Nest and the Liz Lemon , the latter of which describes how to make marbled rye bread. I admire his determination and display of skills, even if most viewers will likely just use bread they bought from a store.
I thought I'd have Paula N. ask Umbra about making bread completely from scratch. By that, she means she'll grow wheat, harvest it, and then Umbra will do whatever magical cooking thing turns wheat to flour and then turns flour to bread. Umbra has to remind Paula N. that just because she knows how to cook, at least more than Paula N., she doesn't know how to process wheat into flour.
