It's interesting how common the "do-anything robot" trope is in fiction. It's certainly not the case currently, as robots are pretty much only passable at the one task they're given. Perhaps the theory is that, as robots become more humanoid, they will be able to perform the complex tasks that we can, but will have the addition of built-in tools, so they can be perform any task better than a human could.I thought I'd draw Alice contemplating her own versatile functions. As discussed many times before, Alice refuses to believe that she is a robot. This can make certain aspects of herself difficult to explain. For instance, she is able to detach certain body parts, such as her arms, and put them back on with no ill side effects. She also has multiple storage areas and tools built into her limbs. As far as she knows, there could be humans who do this, too. She just...hasn't met them.
