In the past, I've shown how Galileo finds thunderbolts and lightning to be very very frightening . In fact, even small bolts of electricity shock him into retreating . It's not too common that I discuss his fear of thunder and lightning, though, and I feel like I should. It's something that makes him more vulnerable and relatable.
I thought it would be funny to show the different opinions Paula N. and Galileo have on storms. He's terrified of the loud noises the thunder makes and the bright lights the lightning is making. She's happy that it's raining, since it means she won't have to water her garden.
