I thought it would be cute to draw Beta sunbathing on a nice, sunny day. Since he's a plant person, he can absorb sunlight to photosynthesize. So on days where there ain't a cloud in sight, he likes sitting down in the sunlight and using that to feel more energized. Also, the flower near him also likes the sunlight, so that's something the two have in common.

He was originally going to say something to the effect of "Nothing like the feeling of photosynthesis on a sunny day," but I don't know if "photosynthesis" would've been a word at the time he lives in.
