Over the past few months, I've been watching clips of the Pokémon anime. More specifically, the "James Being The Best Character " trilogy. While I always kinda rooted for Team Rocket based on a cursory glance, actually watching clips of the show has made me really appreciate the trio, especially Jimbo.
For Halloween, I thought it would be fun to dress Marth & Roy as James & Jessie respectively. I thought about the similarities between James and Marth, mainly with both of them having long, cool-colored hair, as well as being a bit flamboyant. And since I'm a sucker for couples in matching costumes, I wanted to draw a Jessie to go with his James. Though Peach would be a nice choice, I thought I'd go with Roy, since his red hair would match Jessie's magenta hair. And now they're both ready to blast off at the speed of light.
