Description
One of my all-time favorite cartoons is Kipper the Dog. The show follows the lives of Kipper, an anthropomorphic dog, and his friends, Tiger the Scottish Terrier, Pig the pig, Arnold the pig, and Jake the sheepdog. It's just such a calming show. The music, for the most part, is nice and quiet and the animation is slow and peaceful. It's a really nice show to watch when you need to unwind.
One of my favorite episodes is the first episode I ever saw, "The Visitor." In it, Kipper finds a bird on his windowsill during a storm and invites the bird inside so he can take care of him. One of the best parts of the episode is when he dries off the bird . After he does so, he puts the bird into a cardboard box to sleep. He notices that the bird doesn't look too comfortable, so he gets his slipper and puts the bird in that to keep him comfortable during the night. This is my depiction of the scene, using a brush pen and watercolor pencils.
