★ Personality::
Jae is a man of action and tends to show what he wants or feels by doing it, rather than stating it. He's straightforward about opinions and judgements. In conjunction, he's terrible at reading between the lines and will take most things for face value. He goes for what he wants; if someone else wants it he will get competitive, or if something is preventing him from getting it he will persist for a while. Most of the time he's confident and outgoing, and likes to be involved in activities with others. Jae is mostly laid back, but he can be cocky and slightly domineering sometimes. He doesn't like it when he sees others who are cocky. He generally just wants to have fun and isn't one to particularly pick a fight, but if other people get in the way or irk him he won't hesitate to stir things up. He's blunt and stubborn, will say what's on his mind and rarely takes back what he says or does, and will wait for the other person to swing first if it comes to it.
Jae is quick to get bored and moves from activity to activity or person to person. He actively seeks fun. When he gets bored he's flirtatious without aim and often in rude ways; sometimes he doesn't realize it, and other times he just doesn't care about correctness. He can be quite superficial when evaluating others. Most of the time he just doesn't care and lives for the moment. He can be pretty impersonal and doesn't really know commitment. Following this, if he really does care about something he can become quite passionate and focused as opposed to his usual flighty self, but he either acts on it covertly or just keeps this side hidden. He can't bring himself to understand that people might appreciate sensitivity from him so he is discreet of any evidence of it. Even though he has fun often he sometimes can't help but feel that he's just wasting his time afterwards. He enjoys the highs of life but isn't really affected by anything or anyone for the long term or at least doesn't wish to be; if he is affected, then that thing must really be something that matters.

★ History:: Jae's had a pretty easy life. He grew up with two older siblings (a brother and a sister) who would always play fight him and tell him to be tough, and this shaped a lot of his demeanor. They would drive their mother crazy because they were wild, but Jae, the youngest, was always a mama's boy at heart. He was still rowdy but a little more contemplative than the other two, and liked to go off on his own and explore. When he was young he liked to decorate and make things from junk he found floating in the sea as presents for his mother, even when his brother and sister made fun of him for it. He moved out at sixteen, but still visits his mother every month and gives her presents.

- Gets easily distracted

- Runs his hand over his hair often

- His mother and two siblings (and entire family) all have the blue and white mako shark skin and white hair. He believes he's unfortunate to have received the recessive goldfish coloring, although he's thankful that he at least got shark everything else
- Has two piercings in each ear lobe, and two additional piercings in his left ear (hidden)
- Lives in a cave carved into a reef
- Will literally spend hours arranging shiny things into sculptures for himself but hides them in an alcove in his place
