I binge read the entire manga in two days 😂

In this piece, I included a lot of symbolism from the story, as an exercise to make something more meaningful (hands reaching, diagonal lines, red skin colour, etc).

The image shows how people often desire and fall in love with the (inhuman whatever creature) Tomie, but always ended up killing her and chopping her into pieces. These pieces then can regenerate and grow into more Tomie's, who then continued the cycle of getting killed, chopped to pieces. And regenerated.

Generally speaking, this manga by Junji Ito is rather gory, but with a very interesting plot that leaves me wanting more. Here ends my long rant. I shall go and read more Junji Ito stuff uwu
