Jewel lore now! You all are getting all da lore. I've been neglecting his curse despite that being my main goal when I made him. So, this is about how he feels towards his curse.
He hates it. He's afraid of and disturbed by his curse. For the first few months of his life, the curse would take control of him and kill innocent people who accidentally set him off. Jewel is mentally "young" due to having amnesia, so his mentality is still developing. With the curse, he has to "grow up" fast. Innocent blood on your hands when you've only been around for a few months can really fuck with you. It really messed up Jewel. He would try to repress his trauma and guilt, but that would make things worse. Even after he's learned to control the curse, he still despises it. He's afraid to lose control and hurt people. It's also caused Jewel to develop control freak tendencies. The reason he's so bratty and defiant is because of his trauma. He doesn't want anything controlling him. He knows it's wrong to lash out at and disobey others, but that looming fear of no control hovers over him.
