Description
Said no one, ever.Holy shit I'm actually starting to get some designs down for the standard gauge engines??? And I needed to put these two together, they're like the ultimate asshole duo. Also, I found out that James is actually older than Gordon according to the TTTE wikia, which is why he's been painted in a sLIGHTLY different uniform to Gordon, different times, different fashions.
Someone should really paint him into a uniform that matches up with the times.

An amazing piece of art for a human form of these two!
I love the detail and how you actually are one of the few people noticing James actually is one of the oldest engines.

Also like how they picture Emily to be young. She is older than Edward for gods sake.

I do always try to look into a character's age before designing them, to avoid putting them in the wrong kind of outfit for the time. For example a humanised engine in my design built in the 1800's would look very different to one built in the 1900's, fashions change all the time, almost alarmingly quickly ; w ;

Oh yeh, very true. These things are really messed up at points when taking a closer look at each loco's bio.

Thank you!! And yup, James' build date is around 1912/13, Gordon's is 1922. They're not too different in age but the gap is there.
