If you haven't read the 2-issue IDW TMNT story "Infestation 2 " - then, you obviously won't know where this poster is coming from and I don't know what to tell ya, other than: GO READ IT - esp. if you like Lovecraftian type horror.

Which I do.

Anyway, something about those two issues just strike all the right cords with me! Which is why this isn't the only art piece I've drawn from this story which was originally drawn by Mark Torres . The only difference here is, this image features li'l ol' Rise Leo.

I've seen many other artists putting Rise Leo into various scenarios from the IDW TMNT series, such as when Leo was converted into the Foot Clan's Chunin during the "City Fall" arc. (One of the most notable arcs in the entire series btw!) This is just my contribution to that li'l fad.

I started drawing this quite a while ago but trying to figure out how to draw Mr. Bloch is what stopped me from completing it the first time. Recently watching the RISE TMNT movie is what inspired me go back and finish one of the few arts I had actually featuring Rise Leo.

Also, FYI, the taglines at the head of this poster are actual quotes from the comic itself... just in case you were wondering.
