Description
This honestly was extremely quick, but I needed to do a picture with both of my thoroughbred foals in it.

The little black filly is sired from Thalion

The slightly larger silver bay colt's dam is Pandora

They're both special!

Our almost yearlings had been weaned for quite some time, but it was the first time they had met each other since winter and both had grown significantly. Spring was warm and wonderful. We let Fly into the pasture first, to let the sweet little boy get used to grass beneath his hooves again, and then we brought our the stable's little princess.

Firework was still a very sweet girl, but she'd been spoiled all winter by everyone that had met her. Many of the visitors wanted to see her just for the reason to see her sire in her; so she had extremely brat-like tendencies. Her mother could be seen in her a bit more than usual that day- because she bucked and tried to romp around before we could get her into the pasture. She couldn't be free from the lead any sooner.

The end result was quite the sight. Fly would shadow Firework until she sped up to a canter to get away from him, and when she slowed he'd go back to following her. He did this for a good portion of the morning, until he grew bored enough to graze and watch her leap around the field and shy at anything that moved- including him.
