Yes!!! SOPA and PIPA must be stopped When does the rights of a few corporations supercede the rights of millions of people? Lobbying must be stopped in this country! All too often, special interests are getting their way all in the name of the almighty buck, and what about the interests of the voters? Don't we count?
Regarding fans drawing Darkwing Duck and other characters that they love....what's the harm? How much MONEY is precious Disney losing by an artist drawing Darkwing Ducky? So long as the artist doesn't SELL the piccie to a mass audience where's the harm? And by having Darkwing Ducky eppies on Youtube, I really don't see the harm in that either....Disney doesn't show Darkwing on television anymore and they ain't releasing the last volume of the Darkwing DVDs, so where are they losing money their? I don't understand. Me thinks tis good for Disney to have that stuff out there BECAUSE TIS SHOWS AN INTEREST, A STRONG INTEREST AT THAT is still out there for Darkwing Duck!! And not only that, tis introduces NEW FANS to the show!!! I don't see the harm there!!
And as far as downloading music, the entertainment industry are the ones who started the illegal downloads themselves...CBS had cnet and according to that video on Youtube, all the entertainment industry corporatons were competing against one another creating downloading sites!! And what they are pissed because people have a few songs?
There are already good Copyright laws in place so why not continue enforcing them. Why arrest people for possessing Darkwing Duck on their computers and arresting people for daring to UPLOAD their Darkwing Ducky art for all the world to see their talents!! There is A LOT MORE to worry about in this country then someone possessing and distributing Darkwing Duck!!
