Phew, had a hard while doing this deviation, but I love the result - especially the Scare School students who are in candy animal form
OH and yes, , Jet the mermaid in her doll form is one of those lovely 80s toy mermaids (like those you get from Hasbro or Mattel) with long coloured hair. and Wolfie is a Teddy-Wolf YAY for quote and candy tree prop references
Now on to our story:
The carriage, pulled by Orthos flies through the enchating night sky, until at last they reach a rather...delicious looking land.
Ashley: Miss Dirge, welcome to our home- the Land of Sweets!
MD: Oh Nutcracker, its just SO beautiful- I've never seen ANYTHING so enchanting before
*bright flash of light appears*
Ruby: Nutcracker! You have returned! OH- and a newcomer! Hello Little Miss porcelain ballerina! what is your name?
MD: Miss Dirge, your majesty
Ruby: MD, Welcome to the Land of Sweets, I am its ruler the Sugarplum Fairy- and every toy and candy creature is like a child to me
this is my Kingdom*MD gets a tour of one of the many areas she's in of the Land of Sweets- roads made of Wafer and candy cane trees- one inhabited with a gloomy-looking gummy snake and bwaking Mazipan bird. and cake houses......
Ruby: *announcing EVERYONE the Nutcracker and the soldiers have retuned! and there's a newcomer here
Harpy: Bawwk!
Ravena: they're back!
Jack-in-the-box!Thatch: Hah- its the Prince and his army - their back and *sees MD* Well, well Hello Doll-face!
Dummy Girl: Hello Thatch!
T: I wasn't taking to you, I was talking to that new girl- that porcelain ballerina!
DG: HUMPH!
Chocolatefrog!Mosshead: Heh, You like that new doll!
T: I DO NOT! *blushes*
*EVERY toy and candy creature gathers up- a VERY large crowd*
Ashley: *shows Ruby the Mouse King's crowns* your Majesty- the Mouse King has been defeated- victory is ours and the land of sweets is at-
Teddy!Wolfie: The Nutcracker has defeated the 2-headed Tyrant who has been constantly trying to take over us! three cheers for him!
everyone: HIP HIP -
Ashley: GUYS! Wolfie! it wasn't me! *takes out MD's slipper from his pocket. Miss Dirge here saved me when the Mouse King was about to kill me. she hurled THIS slipper at his head and knocked him out, causing the mice to flee. So she's the one who made us win!
Dummy Girl: Pfft- how anti-climatic. Oh- well, at least victory belongs to us. HALF A CHEER FOR MISS DIRGE *eyeroll*
Everyone: HIP HIP HOO!
Ashley: HALF A CHEER!? Guys - she single-handedly defeated a power-hungry tyrant with JUST A SLIPPER and SAVED ME FROM ALMOST BEING KILLED!
Ravena: yeah, Dummy, Ashley is right we should give her more.
Gruftine: Listen to Ravena, don't be stingy, Dummy.
Ruby: actually guys, what she needs- and Ashley too are not three cheers, but in thier honour, LETS THROW A PARTY
Thatch: But your majesty- that's your solution to like, everything! *rolls eyes*
Jet: I like that idea actually- lets hold a LARGE ball and dance away
Slither: dude- now you're talking
*Ruby clicks her fingers and the place is transformed into a lovely outside garden ball. Everyone dances to the familiar tunes from the nutcracker suite*

XD even in as a toy, THatch still hasn't stopped flirting despite knowning that she's taken XD
and I recon Dummy Girl was funny too- but Ravena was right about MD needing to get more than just a cheer- it was her who defeated the mouse King after all

This is awesome and I really like how the characters look in the Land of Sweets, I recognize all of them. And Ruby makes a lovely Sugar Plum Fairy. I can't wait to see the dance scene.
