Art trade for *Hot-Sox . Actually, third time I've drawn this. Both the other times, my computer deleted it when I was nearly finished. Also my tablet may have died, which is just... altogether not good.Ahh well

The eyes need to be more distinctively different in colour. Β He had one blue and one grey eye, and an almost permanently dilated pupil due to an injury when fighting one of his friends.

Wow. And he totally is prettier than me. I just adore how you do hair - it looks so natural and soft. I want to spend a few hours brushing it for him! Those eyes are really nice - especially the makeup. It really looks like makeup! Lovely work, he looks wonderfully real, and wonderfully Bowie. Really, really something to be proud of.

What's the process here? Do you begin with a photo and draw over it or use a photo as reference?

Yep, I start over a photo for the basic shapes and then use another copy as a reference for after that.
