Well, this started out as a quicky initially but I ended up spending about 2 hours on it. Hard to tell between browsing on the net and making food. Could have been 2 hours and 30 mins. I dunno really :/. I like this style but I feel it takes a little longer than my more traditional style.I recognized these ace lines by ~Red-J this morning from a while ago and I figured I'd have a shot to warm up. I quite like the result. I think Mon is definetly one of my fav characters...

In coloring. Peeerhaaps. (Never been good with it.) Been drawing the same way I do now back when I was two (the same age I'd get upset at someone giving me a pen when I clearly asked for a pencil. Like a boss. 
So 50/50 chance on that.

Damn straight, teach 'em the difference between a pen and a pencils (many people here say a pencil is a pen... *SSSLAP!!*)
I think it depends what you call "practice". Practice, for me, is mostly idea+application+revision+repitition over a long period of time. I think the best practice is learning to self-criticize and learn from the mistakes (something I don't really do [but shhhhhhh]).

As far as practice goes- coloring hasn't been my skill. Sketching..... used to sketch friends in three to five ways. (D'aww.. Gotta love when they ask you not to draw them as ugly, then some guy near by says, 'Oh come on. Then she's going to spend hours to follow your demand!' XD SO NICE!) Used to.... *Sniffle.* Remember that mention on not envying artists socially? Yeah. Gotta keep friends near to even tie them down to model.

Hahaha. I only have one friend who really wants to pose, just because he knows he's, 'fabulously built.' Was complaining I'm not good at drawing dudes then I suddenly realized what was on his mind. "Wait. You're wanting me to be your Jack to your Rose, aren't you?" "Yes." "Fine, but censoring it with a cactus, kthnx." "As long as it doesn't censor my awesomeness!!!" xP
