***WARNING-SPOILERS***This was done in memory of the recently departed Kikyou.
Chapter 465 was one of the most emotional manga chapters I've ever read. I'm still devestated about it.
I know it was silly of me, but I just always thought that she would be there until the end, even though part of me knew that InuYasha could never move on with her still around. But I just feel a void without her chatacter anymore.
I'm deeply upset by this turn of events, and this is my humble tribute to the tragic miko.
You will be missed

I love your picture!
In all of anime Kikyou was, and still is, my favorite character. So, when she died I was deeply upset. Her death was the only one, in any manga, that made me cry.
She died in ch.465 not 265.

Though-Takahashi-sensei has appeared to have "replaced" her, sort of-okay not really but we can pretend, with the introduction of Sesshoumaru's mother into the story...So check that out.

In a way I am glad Kikyou is finally dead, since after her first death she was never really alive. She became a restless tortured soul trapped in a time stop of vengeance, unable to move forward and escape from the suffering of continually hurting the people she loved.
I am glad she is finally at peace, but she will be missed.

P.S. On the bright side Sesshoumaru's mother has finally been revealed to us! And it's about time too, it only took Rumiko nearly 500 chapters to get around to it...

Beautiful job on this. Yes, Kikyou's ending was a bit of a surprise. Oh, I knew it would happen, but somehow had pictured it being during the final battle with Naraku - after she did her share in defeating him. But, in a way, it does make sense. Now Inuyasha has time before that final battle to grieve, and be ready to move on - with Kagome.
Yes, chapter 465 was intense. I've only been scanlating for a short time now, and I found myself having to take short breaks to get my composure. Of course, there was one chapter that still gets my vote for most beautiful/tragic/intense, and that's chapter 374 - Wind. But, 465 is a very close second.

Oh, that is also completely devestating. But for me, Kikyou was my fav, so watching her go was bittersweet. Oh, and the look on InuYasha's face was just too much.

But, in all honesty, I have mixed feelings. I too, thought she'd be there 'till the end (it was more like, 'Man, she's never going to frikken DIE!!!' lol), but I'm sad that she's gone. But I'm also kinda glad that when he starts to heal, it'll be better for InuYasha...

I was sad about the last chapter too. And it`s not silly, I really thought that she was going to be around for the end too. I only recently began to like Kikyou`s character (though I was never a hater), so it`s sad to see her go. But on the bright side, Kikyou deserved to be at peace after all that`s happened, and now she`s finally attained that peace. You`re right, she will be missed.
