Whoopsie, should I post a spoiler warning? Yeah, if you bring Tatsuya to the Time Castle in Eternal Punishment he kind of freaks out and tells Maya to get away from him. Earlier, Elly mentions that he makes her skin crawl, and she wonders why (yay Persona 1 memories?).
It's also hinted at in Innocent Sin, but it isn't blatantly said until EP.
But yeah Nyarls was probably binge-playing Castlevania with Philemon one night when he decided to go all white-haired-prettyboy.

I have played P2. In fact P2 IS is in my opinion the best persona game. The only main title I haven't played is Eternal Punishment because I foolishly refuse to play the PS1 Version and still have hopes for that fan-translation of the PSP Version.

AWESOME! It really is amazing! I love all the Persona games but P2 is super-special. It's definitely my favorite. Ahhh yeah EP's PS1 version is rough, but it's better than nothing. I just really, really, REALLY want to play Tatsuya's Scenario! There's an ongoing translation (readable, not playable) on tumblr and it is absolutely heart-wrenching. Plus you get to kick Cthulhu's ass.
