Description I decided to save the poses I made for Bunnie, as key-frames in blender in or to re-render them faster with out having pose the model again if there was something I did not like about the picture. I hit play to see what it would look like if she moved, and I thought it was kinda cool!  So I used open GL render to show you guys what I saw. By the way this is not an animation, just Bunnie flipping through her poses on the timeline. final render of these found here:

Cool little animation here. It would be nice to see her in action.

I'm glad you think so, it's pretty alright for a series of poses strung together huh?

thanks

LOL  that hat

Her hat just pops on over those long ears - I know nothing about blender rendering so I can't say I could do better, but it's funny to see

Still it's a good job and Bunnie looks amazing animated. I love seeing these from you

yeah, that hat popping in and out just illustrates objects in the scene that I chose to hide when making the final render. timed to a keyframe it produces a rather amusing effect... also if I had too I'm not sure about how I'd get the hat on/off of Bunnies' head without having it clip through those big ears of hers. when Pixar put Mr. Incredible's hand through fabric for the first time, no 3d animated movie had done it before. There were intense arguments and purposed rewrites, in the end, they had to write new code to make it possible. blender is lousy for cloth simulation and I'm not that ambitious... yet.

Thanks, I am happy to know that you enjoy these more to come of course!

Trust me I realize that just that split second animation of putting the hat on would be a major feat most people would not notice. The 3D spatial movements to execute to have it literally thread long ears through small holes is much more complicated than it seems. Sorry if what I said came out negatively in any way.

I love seeing how the animators did their magic and the “bloopers” are funny, I search through the Pixar DVD menu for these all the time

no problem you did not come across as negative! I hope I did not appear defensive with my response.

behind the scenes stuff is sometimes my favorite part of movies.

lol, .gif gives really poor frame rate.

it's slow on purpose actually. initially, all three poses occurred within 40 frames but it was too fast. so I scaled it up to 200 frames so y'all could get a good look at the changes!

Ah, ok. Anyway these Chronicles of Acorn models you've been doing must have took you ages to make and they are really well detailed.
