Here is my entry for the Robot Baddie Design Contest! *ENDS JULY 31st* .The picture shows my entry The Swamp angle facing off against three of the four protagonists of and 's fan game "Chronicles of Acorn".
Now, you might be thinking three on one isn't exactly fair but hold on this is a staged fight.While each robot I made is essentially a variation of the Krudzu, I entered the first stage "Swamp angel" because she was small and versatile enough to pose fighting the girls one on three and fit everyone on screen plus she looks cool with a lance and giant flail, time will tell if I made the right choice!
When I started on this my goal was to make a robot that mirrored a multi stage boss fight in an RPG as those are some of my favorite's like lady Yunalesca from FF 10. finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Wa… i loved how she just came out of the ground like a giant zombie!
The Swamp angel is a robot that contains the Krudzu, defeating her causes the Krudzu to collect other defunct robots to defend itself and grow larger into its 2nd and 3rd stage.

Looks pretty good, although the refection of the surface their fighting on is a not such a great background.

yeah, the reflection is second rate low-quality HDRi is the cause.
I could not get a better one because right before I made my final renders the internet went out I ended up having to send my entries via cell phone. not making any excuses here but at the time it was the best picture I had already on my hard drive. So I threw up man hands cursed my lack of foresight and uploaded it anyway. LoL
