very fine pic, i used to have Z1, has quite a good macro, the colors and the background(actually no background) are especially good
Well done!

Thanks a lot!
I see you're using a 5D now -- how does this one perform compared to the Z1?

An another world of photography has opened
I chose from EOS 350D, Nikon D70 and 5D and that was the best choice.
The noise is at ISO 1600 is lower than ISO400 with Z1, the sharpness is superb, finally with AS I took some photos with almost a second exposure time.

Excellent!
Well, ISO400 on the Z1 really is ugly, even ISO200 is. That's why I use ISO50 as often as I can (I need the mini-tripod a lot ^^). From the higher-priced ones I tried the Dimage A200 btw, but wasn't too happy with both the results and handling. So if I ever think about getting a new one, I'll consider the 5D instead.

at this level of magnification, a sound card resembles an oil refinery. odd.

Well, the low F-number was on purpose on this one as well, I didn't want a large dof here -- but if I do another (a blue) one, I'll consider it nonetheless
Thanks for the btw!

very very nice, clever idea, i have to say that i'll copy one day ... well done, but next time, if i can give you a suggestion try to shot it like a cityscape
try with a sky blue background

Sure, go ahead and make a similar one!
Nice idea making this with blue bg, btw.. Maybe next time. Gotta take another board then thou (since this one is black/gold and goes better with yellow/white colors I think). The "weird" angle was on purpose thou
