If you do not mind my asking, what is Alien Skin, and what does it do? See it mentioned from time to time on the subject of rendering digitally painted fur and hair.

Alien Skin is a company that makes image editing software. In short, Exposure (the plugin for Photoshop that i used here) is a collection of filters that can be applied to your pictures; most of which emulate the look of old analog film. What you're referring to is probably Eye Candy, a different piece of software. More info on their website: www.alienskin.com
