I finished watching Texhnolyze and went omg and cried. Then I looked around for some extra goodies on the net and fished up this desktop wallpaper of Ran. There's one of Oonishi, Doc and Ichise too, but Oonishi is too grumpy, Doc stares, and Ichise looks like a mutant Lain on the wallpaper.

Count me as another one who cried. ;_; Still, I think it's one of the most phenomenal and emotional endings I've ever seen and was a perfect cap after all of that tragedy. The darkness before it was needed to make the quiet and peaceful sadness strike home - and oh, it did. Big time.
Also, most beautiful series ending song ever. Without that song, the ending wouldn't have worked so well. I think it's one of the endings that will hold up over time and repeated viewings. Ichise's one of my favorites, along with Ran.
