Updated from the title "Shiny Sandygast" i'll put the original picture in sta.sh ===> sta.sh/0phytkidlpn
since he evolved i thought this picture would be more fitting as route 14 (alola) has black sand and shiny palosand is well, black sand.
yes, i caught him at hano beach, i ev trained him and evolved him, then i took him to route 14 to take his photo in that beach.

this little lump of sand is really hard to SOS chain as it suffers from the "paras syndrome"
( the term i dub, pokemon who have movesets that make it really annoying to SOS chain with) like jwittz and his accidental SOS battle with magby using fire spin and smokescreen, except in sandy gast's case it's sand tomb and sand attack.

also it's nature is just meh, it's ivs are good. however it has it's hidden ability (why, out of all the shinies to get it's hidden ability and i can't even use it) it's a banned ability in competitive as evasion clause is banned. plus water compaction is a better ability

now, to shiny hunt for crabrawler next.
