this boss is awesome! and epic!!! (even if it looks like a zelda boss.)
the music, the atmosphere, the boss fight itself is awesome!
void termina a giant creature who's mere reason for existence is to destroy everything and leave them in ruin.

I think I found out that this awesome creature is meant to be a "Nosoi" because of the mask. Looking up the term on Google, it's an evil spirit from a plague or disease.

Personally, I am skeptical if Void Termina is Dark Matter like people think it is cause I think it's Dark Matter-like form is more a of call-back to previous games in the series, which HAL is pretty good at doing that.

Every call-back has a reason, though. They wouldn't have just designed it after Dark Matter for simple nostalgia value: those similarities are telling us SOMETHING... but we don't know what. There's definitely a connection, but it may remain forever a mystery.

My theory is that it means that Kirby is the antithesis to Void Termina, being the Light to counter Dark. Kirby being Light Matter, and Void Termina being Dark Matter. Not that Kirby is another one of Void Termina's spawn, but the exact opposite of Void Termina.
A good thing I could compare it to, remember how in Sonic Unleashed, how Chip, despite being that little creature, is then revealed to be the "Light Counterpart" to Dark Gaia, being Light Gaia? That's what I think of it like, Kirby is the Light Counterpart to Void Termina, the Light to stop the Dark.

who knows void termina may be related to dark matter or he may of well created the dark matter species zero included. or he just so happens to mimic dark matter like he also mimics kirby's face.
